He said there is not much he can do if I really want Prius..
Well..I think I did pretty good

Doesn't sound like you went for the diesel. Got a good rate for that long term from NFCU.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: NFCU instantly pre-approved me for $19,000. Got the price to 18,100 out-the-door. I put $2,000 down and traded in a 1999 Dodge Avenger. I did opt for a lifelong premium service package that raised the price a tad. Picked up the NFCU check at noon, walked out of the dealership at 4. Ford was able to offer a comparable financing offer, but I wanted to do right by NFCU.

No, I did think about it but I decided to stick with the V-8. Since I work overseas right now it's only going to be driven 2 months a year max anyway. And I didn't like the idea of having to get another fluid changed every year. Yes, I got a good rate, and I'll probably pay it off sooner than that anyway. I'm putting enough down to keep my payments below $600 so I can add oney to the payment with no problems.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Had negative equity of $2500 due to my previous car loan being at a 24% rate with Credit Acceptace...glads thats gone. I got a dealer $500 incentive. Only put down $365, payment not due until June 1st. Love my car, its a loaded model and got a good price because it has been sitting on the lot for 6 months. Been working really hard on my credit the past year. Going to plant myself in the garden and in one year from now try to refinance this loan with a lower rate. Gotta pay up to fix your credit!!
