Auto Loan Payoff

I just paid off a 5 year loan with Ford Credit.  Will this increase or decrease my FICO score?  Thanks for the help..

Do you have any other installment loan debt? If this was your only installment loan then you just lost the mix of credit points you had by having the loan.

The next time you go to buy and finance a car this history will help.

Thanks for the info,  I have a 1st and 2nd mortgage, and credit cards all in good standing.
