Auto Refinance with Transunion & Chexsystems! Help!

Hello! I was hoping you folks would help me find the perfect bank.

I am open to any bureau pulled, but my best 04 score as of today is on Transunion at 676. The other two just over 640.

I am finding great rate deals around 4% at credit unions everywhere, but I have issues with Chexsystems that prevent me from membership.

It will be a 20k loan that is currently at 10.75%, would like to shorten term and lower payment slightly to assist with DTI for my home purchase at the end of the year.

Have you thought about clearing the Chexsystems account? Usually the record is there for only 5 years. Have you seen your Chexsystems record?

It is already over three years old and is several hundreds of dollars. If it was going to prevent me from getting a home in the near future I would take care of it.
