Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
If the point is to better credit, don't bother with another auto loan as people above have stated. Do that through building extensive revolving history. The new auto loan won't help all that much with rebuilding.
Now if you really want a car, the fact that you want new helps. Do what I previously suggested. Wait for the new cards to report if at all possible, go to to Roadloans and Cap One to see what they say AFTER the cards report. Also mention the reason for the repo was a divorce to the finance manager at the dealership, he maybe able to work something if he can tell the captive's analyst the reasoning. Which brand(s) are you looking at (if you're still interested in buying a new car)?
