I just refied with Cap1. Couldn't have been easier. They actually had a check cut to Santander within 2 hours of the online app. They called last week to make sure I knew how to use the website etc. While the call came from a foreign call center it wasn't a terrible touch. Lopped a year off the loan and only increased the payment $6. We may only keep the car another few months but well worth it for while we have it.
I can sypmathize with the no mortgage. Several websites made me enter an amount for the mortgage even though we don't have one. (yet) We're looking at some rental property and a beach house that will be partially rented out.
