It's time for a new car and I decided on getting an x4 from BMW. I app'd online along with a co signer (my mom bc she has auto history and this would be my first auto loan) and they approved us "conditionally."
They told us to bring the approval into the dealership and they will work out the details. Has anyone encountered this before? We worked out the deal to put down the maximum security deposits ($4,550) and I have a $1,000 credit from the ultimate drive event.

Sounds like you are approved as long as you verify the information you gave. Like, show up with your co-signer, check you both are who you say you are and show proof of income. Just my opinion.

BMWFS will allow leases all the way down to a score of 575. Not sure what their loan cutoff is, but would guess simliar. So assuming you're above that, all good
