Huh? Its PER MONTH. I make 8-9k per month. Not per year.

If it's per month and u can show proof of income. For example... Tax filing or maybe bank account deposit. They will ask for POI and not just stated cause of ur credit score

 25%-50% is more than enough.

Higher interest rate? Yes but this is a new Honda, how on earth is the OP going to be upside down on it? Honda's maintenance their value isn't that way people buy them in the first place?

Like I said, fire off 10 or so emails to local dealers, take the lowest price. At the dealership when they ask how you wanna pay for it say you want to get financed. When asked how much down say ZERO.

When the dealer comes back and days they need 10% down, then DO IT.

Take the rest of your cash and open 3 secured credit cards, $1,000 each.  Whatever is holding down your scores, fix them by PFD, disputes, EE, whatever.

You actually should have done this before you thought about buying a car. Whatever is holding your scores down means you'll be paying more interest.

After six payments a CU will re-fiance, as long as you have no BK on your report.
