Bit the bullet

Hello Everyone,

Being the impatient person I am I bit the bullet and got the truck I wanted last weekend (fully loaded 2012 Grand Cherokee). The reason I wanted to wait was because the balances on my credit cards are high and my score took a hit so I knew I wouldn't get the best rates. But I applied anyway and was approved for 30K with Cap1 blank check deal @ 7%. I know it's not the best rate (better than my last car loan at 21.99%  Smiley Surprised YIKES) but it's doable until I refi next year.

I figure I will wait until March when my utilization is back below 9%. I'm hoping to regain the points I lost (approx 70) plus more when my mortgage reports to TU (already reporting on the other two) and becomes a year old. Also, a few of my last remaining baddies and a few inquiries are due to drop off at the end of this year. So I'm hoping to be well over 700 and get within the 2-3% range when I refi but I am happy for now. Smiley Happy
