Capital One Blank Check Auto Loan RECON?

Hello all,

I applied for the blank check auto loan last week online and I received a letter today saying I was denied. Is there any chance of a reconsideration?

What were the reasons listed for denying your financing ?

Cap1 isn't known for being very receptive to recons, you *might* have success if you take actions to correct what they pointed out.

The reason listed on the letter  is "too many inquiries."

That is a tough one. Were some of the inquiries due to your pursuit of an Auto loan ? If so perhaps you could explain it.

Bottom line is that "too many" is subjective and how many is too many varies widely by creditors.

Did they pull all 3 CRs ? Are any of your reports showing many more Inqs than the others ?

From my customers experience, Capital One Blank Check recons have not been successful. However if you have a Capital One "Diamond Dealer" they are able to submit the application and talk to there buyer and work out a deal. Mod Cut
