Car Loan

Hello All

I am in need of a car loan I have made some mistakes in the past with credit but I am working on rebuilding my credit. I need to know what lender would give me a loan I am looking to purchase a car for $7000 and I am able to put $3000 down on it. As per experian I have a credit score of 617 any advice or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried your local bank or CU....aim for a smaller lender IMO.

Depending how old this car is and miles on it would probably be your biggest obstical.

A Credit union is usually a little more lenient on financing older things especially when you are putting almost 50% down... keep the terms short as possible, 24 hopefully but I wouldn't go longer than 36 with only financing about 5k.

With $3000.00 down and a sticker price of what you mentioned

and your credit score you should be able to get approved through

a CU.. Not sure if you will have issues if there are tons of miles on

the car. Also you do not want to be jumping into a negative equity

situation right from the start. Roadloans as last resort..
