Re: Chrysler capital pre-approval

I got a pre-approval for $72,831 back in June and wanted to lease a jeep patriot which had a sticker for $30K. It ended up being an approval for Tier 5 with very very high interest (being 15%+) even with 5K down. I ended up just financing the vehicle through chase for 3.5% at 72 months with 0 down.

Hopefully you have better luck, but it seems chrysler can be so-so

Re: Chrysler capital pre-approval

I was pre-approved by Chrysler in March 2015 for 67K purchase on a 65K income and a 568 auto enhanced score. I financed a brand new 2015 Dodge Jouney in March  2015; loan amount was 23K for 75 months at 8.10% with my scores.  Rolled in negative equity, bought GAP and put down only 1K. Didn't need the DP just put 1K down to reduce negative equity.

Re: Chrysler capital pre-approval

went to the dealership and picked out my car, worked out the numbers with the sales manager and they pulled the beautiful challenger off the showroom floor while i waited to sign the paperwork. then they pulled me aside and said Chrysler Capital was requiring a large down payment ( i was already giving $2000) otherwise the interest rate was going way up and my payment would have been $800 a month.  left there in the same car i arrived in.
