I have a FICO score of 640 ~, unsecured debt of 35K on credit cards and make around 75K , way above median in my city. However, I have been turned down by credit unions and banks for a car loan. Almost all of them have rejected my application for credit. But i get a pre approval from GMAC, Toyota financing, and other car companies . Just confused at how they look at customers ...
