DCU Preapproved Auto Loan

Anybody have experience with the "pre-approved" auto loan.

You won't know how much the pre approval is until your actually apply. But I would say if you need a loan and can't get 0% at the dealer. DCU is definitely the way to go. I have a 1.49% loan through them. Im paying almost no interest. Its great

Or if there is a huge rebate in lieu of the low rate financing, now you can get the huge rebate AND the low rate

Ok. I pulled the trigger last night. This morning I got 2 emails, the first said to email sale order to DCU to finish the application. The second email said I need to be a member. I have been a member since June 2014. I called them, but no one in the loan office was available. How do i know what I have been approved for and for what interest rate? What do I do next when I go to the dealership?

You really just have to call them and ask what you need. I apped before i was a member too and it wasn't as smooth as I would have liked. Should have got membership first.

Calling is the key. Just call and ask. they will approve

Spent 30 minutes on hold, finally got transferred and the rep told me to call tomorrow. So, gonna try again tomorrow.

Yea the only thing I don't like it that it takes forever to get through.
