Wow, yeah, old thread!
I went with a Toyota. Got a great price with a dealer 2 hours from where I live (local dealer was asking too much). The dealer got me financing through Suntrust Bank at 8%. I refinanced it just over a year later with Capital One at 3.28%! I paid down my debt, raised my scores, and even bought a house in November. I got great advice from the folks on here.
