Didn't take the car but least the score made me happy

Went to the dealer test drove a 300S ran the credit came back with 650 score pretty sweet 1.5 months post bankcrupcy but low balled me 3500 trade in on a car I owe 7500 totally wasn't feeding that much negative equity but it was sweet to hear the words you should see a pretty fair rate.  Haven't heard that in years.

Re: Didn't take the car but least the score made me happy

Congrats on the feel good...be careful on allowing these dealers to run your credit each way but loose or you'll be under 600

w/o a car in a short period.

Like it or not, it's worth the money to have a paid service to monitor your score during your shopping vs allowing these schmucks to

run you ( you running dosn't cost you points) you can nix the service once your shopping is over but don't let ONE more dealer run your credit

until AFTER you get the deal you want or you get your own financing.

Best of Luck!

Congrats on the improvement. That should give you even more incentive to continue raising your score to hear even better responses in the future!
