Getting a card with auto loan pull

Applied for an auto loan with NFCU and was wondering how I would be able to apply for a credit card with them using the same pull as the auto loan? Would I be able to do it online? Over the phone? I don't live anywhere near one...

Pretty sure they will count as separate inquiries and both will hit your score.  Installment loans and revolving credit are coded differently, not to mention the bank will probably pull a different FICO formula for both auto and credit.

Thanks Corvidae. I thought I had read on here previously where some individuals were able to get both from one pull with NFCU so I was just wondering.

My credit union uses 1 report for 90 days regardless of what you are applying for.  YMMV however and you would be best giving them a call and just asking, I'm sure they will tell you if it goes off the same pull or a different one.
