I just now got around to checking with Capital One. I figured, why not since they approved me for a credit card. However, they dont do financing for private party sales.
I checked with a credit union and they said they would BUT there is 1 open collection on my credit report from 2004! It's only $405 but it falls off in Feb, 2011. It hasnt been reported on since late 2004 so now i dont know what to do. I want to do the DV letter to the CA but, that would take forever to get back, then see if they will PFD. Ugh.
