I have two accounts that were supposed to be excluded from my report 10/13 and 11/13. In May of this year, when I started working diligently on rebuilding my credit, those two collection accounts have re-aged and now exclusion dates are 3/2015 and 12/2016. I don't have any other proof showing DOFD except for the credit reports; I just threw my old ones away a few weeks ago....dummy!
The CR should work. Was it the OC account that was reporting or a CA?
But the dealership should still have records.
I just called the dealership, I am going to stop by there today to see if I can pick the old CR up.....this is for Midland accounts. I still need to get a more recent report to show you what Portfolio has done...
My dealership ran my credit for a lease that I wanted to get after trading in my old lease. There was a discrepency between what the dealer had and what I had but they would not give me a copy of the report. Do I have the right to obtain that report from them? Thank you.
In most states there is no requirement to keep your CR on file, just your signed credit application. The credit report belongs to the dealership and as such is not available to the consumer. Their only obligation is to provide credit score.
