In disbelief...

Brief timeline:

  • BK7 in 2008. Auto loan after D/C through GM Financial with 17% rate.

  • Some time in 2012, attempted to trade in for newer vehicle. Denied everywhere. Auto Enhanced scores 580-610.

  • 2013-2014 multiple auto lates with ultimate repo in 6/2014 (nursing school took a toll on me financially as was unable to work due to heavy curriculum). Deficiency balance ~$1800 charged off, unpaid.

  • 6/2014, immediately purchased another car through Credit Acceptance at 25% rate, yuck.  All payments made on time.

  • 6/2015, purchased new Jeep Cherokee, financed through CU at 7%.  All payments made on time.

  • Today, decided to trade in Cherokee for larger Grand Cherokee.  Approved for Tier A lease through Ally Financial.  Auto Enhanced score 740! Only 2 years post-repo! And was instantly approved for FNBO Jeep Mastercard for $3000 at dealership! Someone pinch me, because I can't believe it. Smiley Very Happy
