When applying for an auto loan, are pay stubs the only form on income verification? I'm a real estate agent so I do not have weekly/biweekly pay stubs and want to be prepared when I start my search.
Depending on your scores and the lender you may not need to provide any income verification. If your scores are mid 600's or above and a decent debt to income ratio you probably won't be asked for income documents. I always suggest getting approved through a credit union before shopping Penfed, DCU are great options. They will work with you on income verification if needed, better to go that route than going through a dealership which is more likely to request income documentation regardless of if the actual lender really needs it.
Thanks! Scores are 700+ and DTI is around 10% so hopefully I'll be good to go. I will check out Penfed and DCU too.
I am sure you will be fine.
