Love the Rate Reduction from DCU for on time payments

Got my email that my loan went from 3.99 to 3.74 . 

I'll have it paid off by April, but that helps! Got the refi June 26.

Please explain - they lowered your rate just because you paid on time?

I had not heard they did that - hope I can get that if I get an auto loan with them.

Did you have to move direct deposit / checking with them?

They'll lower it up to 1.5% overall, at .25% per quarter (every 3 on-time payments, and no negative balances in checking/savings)

I wasnt aware of that at all.

I'll be looking for another car in the next couple months and they will be my first stop to apply for a loan.
