No They don't. Only way you'd have to pay anything is if you go over the approved amount. For example, I was approved for 45,000. The total price out the door of the car was 48,000 so I had to come out of pocket 3,000 to the dealership.

It also depends on LTV. NFCU will loan up to 125% of NADA on a new vehicle, somewhat less than that on a used vehicle.
