Anyone have any experience going this route for a loan where you know exactly what car you want and how much it costs, rather than the pre-approval route? Was it easy for you to qualify? Any advantage of either, besides knowing you'll be able to buy the exact car you want?
When I opened my account, the lady told me I should have no problem with either route I take, which kind of surprised me since I showed her what my scores are, but that the set amount is easier to qualify for than the pre-approval amount..
