What score do I need to get their lowest 1.79 rate for new cars?

Anyone go through preapproval with them?

it's not going to be just score possibly... but you should be pretty close I would think.

pre-approval is usually quick... possibly even instant... just do it online.. if you have a condition for income verification or something you would probably still see amount and interest rate but wouldn't be completely approved until they verify what they want.

Re: NFCU

Thank you. My score has dipped a little due to utilization and a collection (my only one) so once I get it back up I will apply. I'm hoping when my new mortgage reports, it won't hurt my score.

Good luck! Keep us updated. I am going to try a new auto loan through NFCU in December.
