okay everyone so I need some advice. I'm going to be filing for a chapter 7 bk on Monday. I don't plan on keeping my car because I'm upside down by 5k. I do need a car in order to get to work (yes a car is a necessity I can't ask for rides or use public transportation as I work on a military installation). I make 45k per year and I pay 750 for rent. would I have a hard time getting approved for a car that is 20-25k? I know I'll most likely have a high interest rate but I plan on refi'ing after a year post discharge so that gives me time to get into better a better position credit wise. Is 20-25k for a car reasonable? will I be approved with an income of 45k? just looking for advice! thanks!
