Paid Off Early

Just paid off a car loan 9 months early, which is always a good feeling.  Will be interesting to see if it has any impact on my score.  I have another auto loan reporting, so I'm not expecting much.  Anyway, I would rather have less debt than a higher score!


Starting Score: TU 672 EQ 654 10/20/09
Current Score: TU 775 EQ 783 EX 799 (PLUS)

Heard that about the debt! I have paid off every auto loan I have ever had early. Like you I just don't like the debt.

Last one i paid off cost me about 25 points to my fico score. It came back up within a few months though.
