PenFed & NFCU

Do you have to be in the military in order to get auto loans through PenFed or NFCU?

Nevermind, I googled.  NFCU yes and PenFed will take American Red Cross Members.  Yay!

Not quite accurate. PenFed has an option that enables *anyone* in the US to join. All you need do is make a one time donation to the Military Family Association. You don't need to sign up for spam or make additional donations. https://netmember4.penfed.org/NetMember/Forms/OpenAccounts/Eligibility.aspx Choose "none of the above" and read the options that come up.
