Purchase SUV on Mon/Refinance on Thurs???

I just purchased a 2008 Kia Sorento on Monday Oct. 13th.

18% Interest

$535.01 per month.

How soon can I refinance??? and is it even worth trying with scores around 590?

7/12/08: TU-602, Eq-597, Exp-581

07/24/08: TU-610, Eq-597, Exp-583

09/01/08: TU-610, Eq-614, Exp-600

You can refinance whenever you want, but if there is anything you can improve before you try, it would be a good idea.

The second you drove off the lot your car depreciated by 20%.....A Kia (Which I have a brand new one myself) probably depreciated by 30% of your purchase price.

More than likely unless you have some money to pay the car down to its value you won't be able to refinance.

Your best bet is to make the payments for one year then try to refinance because of the current market and such.
