My auto loan is due on the 11th of each month..in nov..my paydate falls on the 15th..would i get hit w/ a late pymnt and would it show and reflect on my credit if i paid 4 days later on the 15th.
You may have to pay the late fee...look on your statement. It shouldn't be reported as late until it hits 30 days, but you never can count on that. You might call them and see if you can change the payment date.

+1 on above. I was able to change my auto loan once during the life of it. Won't be reported to the CRAs until 30+ late, but no sense in toeing the line.

I once had a lady come to me to get her financing on a car. There was a special rate %1.9 or something she said I dont think I will qualify for that rate I thought oh great here we go another bad credit person. I had her fill out the credit app her score was 829! I said Mam you have one of the best credit scores I have ever seen!? She said how I pay all my bills late every month Im always having to pay late fees. Turns out she was always a week or 2 late but it never shows on your credit score until 30 days late. But yes late fees are added!
thanks guys worked hard gettin this credit right just dont want to ruin it!
1. Call your finance company and ask foe extension or a friend or BT check to cover for few days.
2. Some banks lets you do advance $$ if you got direct deposit for a fee.
3. You can also change your due date (once or twice a year only).

Many auto loans have a grace period of 7-10 days, but you will need to check your contract.
I would avoid taking a cash advance or BT as this will be extremly expensive.
The most important thing to remember is to communicate with your lender, That is the best way to avoid any issues.
One more thing I called Honda once and they agreed to skip a payment and add it back of the loan.
Very nice! Great customer service too!
