Refinance tote the note

Help!!

Last year i pirchased a vehicle from a tote the note dealership. What a mistake!

Now, i need help refinancing, restructuring, or trading in.

I currently owe approximately 19k on a 2010 tahoe LTZ. Ive made roughly 12 monthly on time payments. Obviously, im upside diwn. Capital one apprived a refinance, but will not because current finance company is not fdic insured. Rate genius declined my app. Not sure why.

Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated!

If by "tote the note" you mean a BHPH (buy here pay here) dealer then you're probably going to have a hard time getting the bigger banks such as CapOne to do a refinance.  You'd probably have better luck with a local credit union if there is one in your area that you can sit down with an explain the situation.  Shy of that option the best one I can think of is a personal loan if that's something you could obtain.

Will a prime auto lender refinance a tote the note?
