Re: Refinancing Auto Loan

I have 16 accounts, most are old student loans that are closed since I consolidated (all in good standing).  2 cap one cards (both good standing for about 7 months), Sandanter loan (17 months good standing), Kay Jewelers card just opened (credit limit 5100, have not used) and Fed Loan student loans 72k in good standing no lates for about 11 months.  Not long credit history but good amount of accounts.  I do have approx 16-18 inquiries on each report, and 32% credit utilization overall.  I also have a tax lien that will drop off in 2017 (its paid and released but I cannot for the life of me get it deleted off my report so I guess I will wait 7 years).  No collections.

I wish I would have known about DCU earlier, I already accepted Cap one approval.  I know its still ridic high but I really wanted out of that Sandanter loan.

Re: Refinancing Auto Loan

You can still refinance the loan again from capital one to dcu. Could save you a nice chunk of cash.

Re: Refinancing Auto Loan

I refinanced both of my cars with DCU and the values they gave to me had to be retail.
