When I applied they sent my info to several different credit unions and financing organizations that I had never been to, or even heard of.   It is a bit disconcerting but it is seems to be SOP for auto financing.

just received a letter from Santander denying me credit for a car being purchased at a South Dallas Hyundai. 

Now I sit on hold with Chase, and then Santander to find out what's going on.  I suppose my next call is Desert Nissan.  I've also called South Dallas Hyundai and confirmed they are in no way affiliated with a Desert Nissan (the dealership I purchased my vehicle from).

Ugh.  Happy Tuesday.

Update:  Chase is having a manager call me back to discuss.

South Dallas Hyundai is having a manager call me back to discuss.

Santander is having a manager call me back to discuss.

Desert Nissan confirmed AGAIN with me that they are in no way affiliated with a "south dallas hyundai".
