Wells Fargo WF Private Party Auto Loan?

Hey yall

Anyone have experience with WF auto loans for a private party? They say the transaction must be closed inside the branch, does that mean both parties must be there or the buying party with the signed paperwork?

And for private party rates, any idea how they compare with DCU, NFCU, and PENFED? 

2008-2010 Toyota Prius

Price: Around $5000-$8000 estimate (I'd be paying $2000 down at least)

I believe that is what they mean.  I doubt their rate would beat NFCU, DCU or Penfed.  Since you already have an NFCU card and are a member I would give them a crack at it.  All three of the CU's you mention are the best for car loans and make it super easy.
