What are my options on an auto loan?

I recently had my last collection removed from my credit report, I have one credit card (year old) with a $1,000 limit, no late payments, and I only charge up to $100 and pay it off. I have a 60 day late from 2 years ago, and thats about it.  My last inquiry was in January for AT&T, I got a new cell phone.  I haven't checked my FICO scores yet, but I intend to soon. 

I also have $2,000 for a down payment, but I'm willing to save more.

Capital One loves to give away money. Apply they will approve and send you a blank check that you can go into a dealer and use as if you paid cash making it very good for negotiating purposes. I used them when I had a 530 back 6 years ago and they approved me.
