Auto Loans

I haven't had success in finding an answer to this:  What is the time frame to start applying for auto loans to have all the inquiries count as one?  Is it within a week?  Two weeks? or 30 days?  I'm looking to buy at the end of December, so looking for some insight.  Thanks!

I think for EX its 2 weeks, TU and EQ its 30 days.

Your probably better off just going to the dealer.

Thanks -- are you recommending going straight to the dealer because they offer so many end of year deals that you can't get at a bank?

I would arrange financing beforehand as a backup.
