approved: Refi my auto from citi financial to Credit Union.

Wow, got approved at UFCU for an auto refi. They pulled Equifax which is at 642 as of my last alert last week.

I started this auto loan at Capitol Auto at about 22% and I refi'd 15 months ago with citi and dropped my intersted to 13%.

Now I just got approved at my credit union and they are doing 6% so that is a really nice interest rate considering my credit rollercoaster ride over the last 5 years.

I think that moving my car loan from a finance company to a credit union will help my score (or at least not hurt them)

Excellent drop in rate. I  need to do a refi in 6 months or so.

My DH and I refi our car loan this last Nov.  Went from a 22% interest rate down to a 11.5% rate.  Once our scores improve more, we will refi again.  Our payment went from $335, down to $175.
