car choice planning

Fix up my old buick 2000 and use it till it does, ive put 210k miles on it.

Get a new car after house purchase.
Inlaw is a finance manager for dodge chrysler and jeep dealership.

Should I go with him or a car I really want?

Used hyundai genesis or acural rl 2010 models both

Or chrysler 300 or dodge challanger from him?

I know he'll break his back to help me out.

What would you do?
On my phone apologies for the errors.

Re: car choice planning

Not really concerned with terms rates or anything of that sort. Just reliability

Re: car choice planning

I just got rid of my 1999 Chevy Malibu with 145K on it due to issues I had. ABS light on,tail pipe fell off, airbag light on,check engine light on etc... I don't suggest getting rid of your current vehicle unless you have to. The poor MPG I got and due to many issues is the reason i got rid of my car. If your mechanic is trust worthy and can fix it "like new" for $500 and it's been a reliable car for you for a couple years i'd suggest paying the repairs and keep driving it till something MAJOR happens like engine or transmission etc... especially if you plan to buy a house soon.

The in law can probably order any used vehicle you want.

Too many INQs & low AAoA so I'm off to tend the Garden.     Age:23
