need a new car

long story short family getting bigger but bad credit (580 score I pulled). Need a new car have an older one but it just wont cut it with 2 kids now. WOndering if I am bette off trying to get a newer model car (2012 vs  earlier) or what to get approved with little to no down. Recently alot of things have dropped off my credit and only loans I have are all current (student loans). If I coudl wait I know in the new year I can throw 4k down on a vehicle and be easy enough.

With a 580 score it's going to be hard to get a no money down loan. And the interest rate will be very high.

May want to try to work on your reports while you build up some down payment.
