Has anyone refinanced a car loan just to leave their lender ? Auto loan with Santander Consumer USA and they have so many complaints I want to refinance with my local credit union.

I'm in the same boat.  Just purchased a new car and weeks later the loan was sold to Santander.  Lots of bad things about them online, figured I would hold out for about a year and then apply at local credit unions for a refinance.
