sub-prime?

Ive been reading a bunch of great stories on here. I'm wondering whats considered sub prime? and are my scores ok to go try to get dealer financing.

Well back in the day the sub prime to get a house was low 600's and now its best around 650'660s! But your score is good enough to get a car loan, no problem.

do you mean subprime scores?
 
If so, I believe the average FICO score now is 692. There are dealers that would finance you. Do you belong to a credit union? If so, I would shop there.

strive - great job getting those scores up so far in 4 months.....why were they so low back in April?  High Utilization / maxed out cards that you paid down?   How old is your file?

You can probably get dealer financing, though if you can get your scores up even more you will qualify for even better interest rates. If you are a member of a credit union, try there as they often have very competitive rates.
