texas auto loan suggestions

I have seen a few people on here say what area of the US they are in and was wondering if anyone in this state has suggestions on places to apply for a car loan with?
I have established a connection with SWAFCU (southwest)

i bank with chase
I'm looking to hopefully purchase at end of year

either a honda civic LX

or

Mazda 3iSport

side note- am i crazy or does mazda 3 actually begon at more for the same features??

Buying new?

i would apply at the credit union but otherwise most likely the car dealer can get you better from the make of car (ie. Mazda)
