So 1 year 1 week post my ch.13 discharge my bankruptcy is off my TU report, thankfully! I sent a letter to TU requesting an early exclusion 6 months before the anticipated fall off date. Everyone is always asking about score responses to it falling off so I thought I'd offer my experience. With no baddies on my report EXCEPT the ch.13 my score was 733. As soon as the ch.13 was off, my score jumped 55 points to 788. I'm pleased and anxiously awaiting everything coming off my EX and EQ and finally putting this period of my life behind me. Thank you for your assistance, support and guidance with everything. I have learned so much.
Soooo HAPPY for You ! ! !
@ladyang it was a chapter 13 filed 2/2010 it was 60 months, took 4 months to discharge and was therefore approximately 6.5 years on my credit report, not one.
That is incredible! I feel your joy. My Chapter 13 filed in 2008 with 60 months of payments and two years after fell off May 2015. There is no way to describe the joy! I so get it and congratulate you!

Got it! It had been haunting your report for 6.5 years. Congrats and go get the other 2 reports cleaned up. Must be a huge burden lifted.
Congrats to you, keep us updated on the score jump on the other two also.
