32 Days Away From Totally Clean!! UPDATED - CLEAN!

Today I sit 32 days away from a totally clean CR with EQ. My CH13 was filed on Mar 4 2008, Discharged/Case Closed Feb 14 2013. My case was to be deleted on TU & EX in Feb 2015 and EQ I guess Mar 4 2015. Through this board, I learned about how to request and had an early deletion in December 2014 for both TU & EX, with huge increases in both scores. However no such luck with EQ as they would not budge... My scores for all were low 700's. Fortunately through the court I was allowed to open a secure credit card with BOA for my work travel and also purchase a used vehicle. This rebuilding with great payment history during this time allowed me to add new accounts during the later stage of my CH13. In April 2014 I was able to purchase two vehicles on the same day a 2013 Honda CRV and 2012 MB SLK both through Chase @ 2.99%

In June 0f 2014 I finally used a VA benefit and refinanced my mortgage from Chase which had been in my CH13 plan. In Dec 2014 after TU & EX were clean and scores went to 790 and 762 respectively I had a great month as Amex (MSD 1983) who previously closed my account back when I was a younger idiot in 1984, allowed me back in and gave me 2 cards @ $15K each and also received a Green and Gold charge.( I wanted the cards to help AA) Also Chase qualified me for two cards a Freedom @$15K and Slate @$9500. Today I sit 32 days away from the March 4 date as I anxiously await for the final close of a chapter in our lives. I still have a "My Precious" (CITI Card) to complete my goals in rebuilding, and then...Garden. This board and it's members have been an invaluable resource of both information and support. I only wish I had discovered it much sooner; however everything happens for a reason.  If you are currently going through BK, I know it can be tough and depressing from time to time, but if I can encourage you with this, you can make it to the other side, and each day brings you closer to your BK journey's end new journey's  beginning. And I would be remiss if I did not give thanks to God. Peace , encouragement and goodwill to all. I will update you when I'm finally BK free...and I have my precious!!

Congrats! I filed on 12/24/14 (CH7 not CH13, tho) and reading these stories are definitely inspiring. Especially that 790 Good job on your rebuild.

Wow!! I have a product that I purchase directly from EQ so that I can check SP's and also do daily as I like, and this morning I received an error message and to call customer service. I call this afternoon and spoke to an agent as he tried to resolve the issue. He put me on hold for a while and then came back and said I should be ok. I then asked him about the CH13 and when/what date it would be discharged. He looked and said that it should delete by March 1. I told him that both TU and EX had removed it and asked what could be done to have it removed. He responded with "nothing really, that it would just automatically drop. He said well you could dispute but that would take a week or so." I told him OK and thank you for his help. He said "wait about 15 minutes and then log back into the account and you should be good". I thanked him and ended the call. Logged in as he said, and was shocked to see the jump in score and "excellent" rating. Checked the report for public information and it was gone!!!! Came to Myfico to update my EQ...still waiting for it to update....impatiently I went to get my free annual score for the EQ..just checked it...and it's clean!!!!!! Will further update when Myfico updates! Very excited and will let you all know!
