Today is my 4 year anniversary from my BK7 discharge. I did not see any change in my score at the first of the month nor today.
At my 2 year mark, on 01JUN2013, I saw a few points drop off but I gained them back within a few months. This was attributed to a re-bucket at the 2 year mark.
I am still range bound 695-710 for the past 2 years. This has not hurt me in the least as I have over $100K in revolving available credit. I also have the lowest auto rate issued by Navy Federal. I just recently closed on a FHA loan @ 3.5%.
My BK7 was one of the single, best financial decisions I ever made. I know it sounds counter-intuitive but the Great Recession was not kind to me.
