I am exactly 6 months post discharge with my ch7. I periodically check my Credit Karma to see what's on the reports. I don't really pay attention to the scores as they are not a reflection of the FICO's but I do like to see what's on my Equi and Trans through them. Anyhow, I noticed that a few accounts that I had IIB were now 'OPEN but have notations of "IIB" listed. My understanding that these should be CLOSED with IIB notations, correct? These are this way on my Equifax only (not Trans). I worked super hard through Equifax's specialty department to have these listed as 'CLOSED with IIB notations about 4 months ago. Successsfully, they reported it correctly (manually without the 'help' of the IIB creditors). Now I login and see the accounts 'OPEN' again. What should I do? Should I bother fighting them again or will this negatively affect my credit? The IIB creditors are CreditOne, Merrick and Fingerhut.
Thanks in advance for your sound advice.
First, I would verify they actually report as open on a full report from EQ. Sometime CK can report things a little odd
Great point! Thanks Scupra!

No problem! I know CK sometimes says my accounts report closed and then a couple days later I get notified of "new accounts" lol
