According to the MyFICO score estimator, if you answered every question with the best possible answer, including having Never having even a 30 day late, but having a bankruptcy, ths highest score achievable ranges from 725-775, so 775 is the max.

Yep... as said, a public record is still a public record and will always drag your score down.
You are right, 700 is different than 800. and 1 year is different than 5,6,7,8 years of excellent credit history.
DON'T WORK FOR CREDIT CARDS ... MAKE CREDIT CARDS WORK FOR YOU!

There is something holding your score back. Do you carry a balance on multiple cards? With how old your BK is there is no reason you shouldn't be over 700 already. How long ago did you start rebuilding?
I tried as hard as i could to hit 740 with a bankruptcy showing..the best i ever got was 734 without a mortgage or loan of any sort showing...just over a year out of bankruptcy in 2006, my fico score hit 734 and dropped a short while after that when they revamped the fico scoring system...just got my transunion bankruptcy deleted and my score jumped exactly 70 points..went from 734 to 804...so, i would think that 70 points seems to be the number that is recovered after it is deleted.. you might get more points for a loan, but you will be short 70 points in all likelihood..guessing highest possible might be 780..ymmv
I filed BK13 9/2009 and it was discharged 11/13. I'd never had a creditcard before 9/14 and when I joined myFICO my scores was 509. After reading I applied for a Capital one which shot my EQ up 70 pts. I'm not going to apply for any new credit for 2 yrs to allow my accts to age and INQ fall off but right now my scores are current in my SIG and my BK13 will fall off 9/2016 so I have a little more time to (Garden) and see how high my scores can go. It would be sweet to have 800 when BK falls on in 2016..
*EDIT**
Had I found myFICO sooner or knew to start building as soon as it was discharged I would be well over 700 by now. but you live and you learn. I vow to not have bad or poor credit again, now that I understand how it all works.. Parents wasn't credit savy either...
Sorry it jumped +83 points.
