Hey guys, well I checked my EX report and saw that my discharge was reported on there so I decided to apply for a couple of Cap1 cards that I had been getting the pre-approval for.....Applied for the QS1 I believe (shows Platinum in the accounts list) and was approved for $1K!!!!! So then applied for the Platinum and was approved for $500!!!!
So question, I thought I had read on here that you apply for a credit increase when??? I'm not sure about the credit steps as I didn't get anything about that. I plan to pay in full each month (except for a few dollars :-) ) and run a bunch of money through the accounts and hopefully apply for an increase in 3-4 months??
On a side note, we did not burn Cap1 in our BK and had several good accounts with them never missing a payment....nothing great as far as CL though..think highest we had then was $750.....we closed the $0 bal cards before we filed.....
Any advice would be appreciated....
Credit steps increase is at 6 months but it may vary a month here or there depending on usage.
CLI requests thru website are SP so it doesn't hurt to try.
I did the same thing back in 2013 starting with $1000 and $500 cards... and they are now $5500 and $2750.

Platinum and QS are 2 different things...
I started with 1 of each and then converted the Platinum to QS later on...
If you aren't sure what you got call them. Maybe you got both QS...
I may have to do that tomorrow....
