So I had be comptemplating over the past few weeks weather I would go for a car loan or not...I had spend the last two years rebulding and have a very decent credit card portfoio. So today I went into Lexus dealership and looked at a 2010 SUV (GX 470) that I wanted test drove it, the priced was right where I wanted it. Decided to give the financing route a shot. The Sales Manager asked on scale of 1 to 10 where's my credit, I said 6, because I was worried the BK would be an issue, he comes back and says how does 4.99 sound I almost fell out of my chair today. I did not expect a rate that low I was thinking maybe something around the 9%. I got my EQ credit score from them and it was 698. All I can say is that I am a happy camper right now....i owe everything to all the contributors on this forum I have learned so much and gained so much confidence and gotten my credit back in shape. Next up is a mortgage I will be targetting the fall for that one.
