Hi my DH has private education loans through Chase which are secured via cosigners. We are unable to pay the $600 a month payment and he also has a reposession and around $20000 in credit card debt. He is considering bankruptcy but we aren't sure whether the education loans can be included in the bankruptcy.
Anyone know the answer to this? Can secured private education loans be included? If so, what will the impact on his cosigners be?
