My BK from January 2003 has finally been removed from my CR's. The only bad thing is I haven't seen an increase in my scores. Maybe the CR'S are more interested in the final three baddies coming off in 2013. At least I'm hoping thats the case and my scores don't drop due to my AAoA's will be shorter. Any thought's from anyone?

Congrats! That has to feel good.
Starting Score: 11/29/12 TU 527; EQ 565; EX 564 fako - bk7 dc'd 2/15/1312-21-2012 08:11 AM
Does your score not going up have something to do with being rebucketed? Congrats, I am sure you feel great!

Thank you. I never gave rebucketting a thought but I can see how that would make sense. I have the last few baddies coming off soon and will probably get reclassified again to those with no derogs but a short AAOA problem.

Rember the effect of baddies declines with time. The score not changing may just mean it was already aged out of score impact.

I see that on my FAKO from USAA but not on my FICO scores.

Moving_Forward, how long did it take FICO to do that, did you notice?
On the Experian FAKO through USAA they use two years as the cutoff for public filings, according to the comments. I don't believe FICO is that short.

myFICO is the consumer division of FICO. Since its introduction 20 years ago, the FICO® Score has become a global standard for measuring credit risk in the banking, mortgage, credit card, auto and retail industries. 90 of the top 100 largest U.S. financial institutions use the FICO Score to make consumer credit decisions.
